Personal Statement:
As every person is an individual, so should their experiences in therapy be individualized. I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Motivational interviewing, Family Systems, Solution focused and Psychoanalytical theory. My preference is an eclectic behavioral approach in working with clients.
My preference of client’s are ages 7 through 25 years old, but am open to other ages and have experience working with all ages. I approach each client where they are, where their coping skills are and create a collaborative treatment plan and goals. I do not believe therapy is a “cookie cutter” approach, each client will receive individualized treatment.
Mental health diagnoses I have experience with are depression, anxiety, high functioning autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, PTSD, Disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Mental Health Evaluation & Psychotherapy to children 7 years old through 25 years old, I am also open to other ages.

Education & Experience:
I graduated with my bachelor’s degree from the Washington State University in 1998, completed my Chemical Dependency Counselor certification in 2004, and completed my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2011. I passed my Licensed Mental Health Counselor exam for Washington state in January of 2016 and am currently still licensed. I was issued a Washington state Licensed Mental Health Counselor license in March of 2016.
